Our Year 12 ATAR students attended the ATAR Revision Seminar held in Perth over the school holidays after travel restrictions were recently lifted. The students flew to Perth during the first week of the holidays, accompanied by the VET Coordinator, Mrs Carol Potter.
We were fortunate to have Karratha Education Initiative (KEI) fund the flights to Perth, the revision seminar, accommodation and meals. This opportunity would not happen without KEI’s support, funding around $2,000 per student. The revision seminar was run by TEE Consulting, The Exam Experts, at the University of Western Australia campus. Students were accommodated at Trinity Residential College located across from UWA. Students were able to attend each of their ATAR subject areas covering units 3 and 4 in the lead-up to the final WACE examinations.
Whilst away we helped Cayden celebrate his 18th birthday, with a loud rendition of Happy Birthday and a piece of cake!
