Saturday Night Fever

On 22 February 2020 the seniors held their ball, the theme this year was RETRO! Year 11s traversed the red carpet from 5.30 – 6.00 pm and the Year 12s made their grand entrance between 6.00 and 6.30 pm. The ballroom was lit up with disco lights while the music pumped during the arrival of the special guests… The students.

All staff and students had a fun night, and the food was to die for! The Gym Café did a fantastic job with their catering, and we even had leftovers. Dessert was kindly provided by our very own Mrs Ritu Rawat, with her super retro Chocolate and Vanilla cakes.

Thank you to all those who helped to make the evening wonderful for our Senior Students, with special mention to:

Mrs Jaimee Harris Provided Sashes at no cost
Mrs Toni Cook Provided the table numbers at no cost
Mr Ben Van Dongen Cut the Retro car that which used for photo’s
Mr and Mrs Lane Picked up boxes from the school and began setting up the room before school had finished
Mrs Andrea Guthrie Met the Lanes at the Leisureplex, got the drinks, batteries and several other things before school was over
Mrs Ritu Rawat Made the cakes at cost price


To all the staff, parents and students who worked tirelessly on Friday night to make sure the event was successful on Saturday night, as well as those staff who returned on Saturday morning to work some more. As well as all those staff who stayed behind until after 11.00pm to make sure the function room was spotless.
