At St Luke’s College we pride ourselves on being a school of choice for the youth in the Pilbara community.
We understand that every student is unique and learns differently. For this reason, we seek to create as many opportunities for students to succeed in the real world as possible.
Our Five Pathways for Success have been specifically designed to cater for the needs of the teenagers in our community. It enables students to decide whether they wish to become groundbreakers in Industry or to further their educational journey at University. Once a student decides where their talents are best suited, the College can detail the best pathway for them to succeed.
We understand that making career decisions for the future can be very difficult for students and parents and we seek to eliminate the stress for families by providing multiple options that are flexible and easy to understand.
Students are guided by our committed VET coordinator, Carol Potter, who delivers a careers program one period a week to our Year 10s to assist them in making informed decisions about their future. Mrs Potter works individually with all students and their families throughout Year 11 and 12 to ensure they are always on the right path. Teachers and the College Leadership team are always available to meet with students and parents to ensure each of their educational and pastoral needs are met.
