Book Week 2020

The theme this year was Curious Creatures, Wild Minds and once again we had fun with various activities throughout the week.

Many teachers put their favourite book on display in the Teachers Read Too competition, where the students guessed the teacher behind the book. Students were able to interact with book covers, creating a Book Face photo and having a laugh at their creations.

On Wednesday, we had Kahoots quizzes during PCG, challenging ourselves on our knowledge of films and books. Thank you to Mrs Medling for setting up a pop-up library at lunch on the grass. There were magazines, school yearbooks, mystery books, rugs, cushions and even a book swap thanks to a group of our wonderful Year 7 girls. Friday of Book Week is always the highlight and this year did not disappoint. Well done to all the students and teachers who came dressed as their favourite book or film character. Overall, we enjoyed a wonderful week celebrating books!
