2021 Hedland Cup

Hedland Cup 2021 saw 80 St Luke’s students from Years 7-10 travel to South Hedland on Wednesday, 26 May for two days of footy and netball.

While we did not walk away with any overall winning teams, our students competed gallantly and showed some glimpses of brilliance. Congratulations to our Year 7/8 boys who narrowly went down in the 7/8 Grand Final, and to Georgie Third and Cynthia Siamutete who were named Most Valuable Players in their netball divisions.

All students represented the school with pride and should be commended for their efforts. Their level of sportsmanship and comradery was noted by other schools and the general public.

Thank you to all students who attended, and special thanks to Mr Avard, Miss Rowe, Miss Alban, Miss Joyce and Mr Christiansen for giving up their time away from their families to coach and supervise.
