Our Vision

The school of choice for our community, one of the best schools in Western Australia, and a driving force in the development of the dynamic Pilbara region.

We take pride in the all-round achievement of our students and strive to instil high personal goals through various academic and sporting initiatives and extra curricula programmes.

Youth Connections

St Luke’s College is proud to be affiliated with, and use the services offered by, the Youth Connections Program.

The Youth Connections Program helps young people who have either left school or are finding themselves disengaging from school. Youth Connections providers also run outreach activities for young people in the community and aim to strengthen services so that young people can become better connected to education.

Youth Connections Coordinators offer one-on-one, personal case management to help young people overcome their barriers and engage in education. Some of the barriers a Youth Connections Coordinator may help with are:

  • Reconnect with their family
  • Help boost self-esteem, resilience and confidence
  • Help young people realise their goals and potential
  • Strategies to cope with bullying issues
  • Refer onto other organisations when a young person may need extra help, eg. Mental health
  • Provide mentoring or advocacy services
  • Explore with them further training and post school options

The Youth Connections Program is funded by the Commonwealth of Australia as represented by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. The Australian Government, along with the State and Territory Governments are working to help more young people gain year 12 (or equivalent) level education.
