St Luke’s College is a Catholic co-educational college founded on the dual ethos of the Christian Brothers and the Presentation Sisters. We are a Catholic learning community seeking to develop young people to be the best they can be, make a positive difference in the world and actively live their faith.

The College opened in 1987 and is the Pilbara’s only Catholic secondary College, currently catering for 455 students from Years 7-12 from the city of Karratha, as well as the surrounding towns of Dampier, Wickham, Roeburne and Point Samson.

Catholic Mission’s World Mission Month Socktober campaign
As part of our fundraising initiative at St Luke’s College we plan to hold a fundraising event to support Catholic Mission’s World Mission Month Socktober campaign. Once dates have been confirmed more information will follow to parents and students.

Ignite Evening
Two weeks ago, I was fortunate to be in the audience to enjoy the talents of many of our College students who performed at the Ignite evening. We were treated to song, musical talent, dramatic performance, dance, comedy and gymnastics and we have received wonderful feedback on the students’ performances.

Pilbara Athletics Carnivals
A large contingent of athletes undertook the lengthy journey to Tom Price last Thursday for the Pilbara Athletics Carnival and competed strongly. Mrs Govender, Mr Sharpe, Miss Tipa and Mr Broad accompanied and coached the students to achieve their very best, with the College achieving second place – by a mere 20 points!
