The school of choice for our community, one of the best schools in Western Australia, and a driving force in the development of the dynamic Pilbara region.
We take pride in the all-round achievement of our students and strive to instil high personal goals through various academic and sporting initiatives and extra curricula programmes.
St Luke’s College is a Catholic co-educational college founded on the dual ethos of the Christian Brothers and the Presentation Sisters. We are a Catholic learning community seeking to develop young people to be the best they can be, make a positive difference in the world and actively live their faith.
The College opened in 1987 and is the Pilbara’s only Catholic secondary College, currently catering for 455 students from Years 7-12 from the city of Karratha, as well as the surrounding towns of Dampier, Wickham, Roeburne and Point Samson.

Final Newsletter for 2018
would like to begin by acknowledging the extremely dedicated staff of the College who have not only worked hard to deliver strong teaching and learning programs this year, but have also generously given of their time to ensure that the many extra-curricular events and activities can take place. Without staff commitment, the school ball, sports carnivals, camps, inter-school football and netball competitions, careers visits, revision seminars, house fundraising, student leadership opportunities, Retreats, House Masses and other programs simply would not take place. In a smaller school, such as ours, there are no less events to run each year, just fewer staff to manage them and we are blessed to have such a dedicated and enthusiastic staff. They are all well deserving of a good holiday!
